Star of the Sea - Stella Maris Chaplet Rosary, Swarovski Pearls
Our Lady Star of the Sea (Stella Maris) is one of the Virgin Mary's names. Stella Maris is seen as a sign of hope and as a guiding star for Christians, especially those who love the sea - but equally as much for those who "sail the seas of life".
This chaplet is made with 8mm Swarovski pearls in a color called Tahitian Blue. The separating beads are double-sided pewter shells and the center is Our Lady praying, surrounded by angels.
Hanging next to the center medal is a silver star & a cluster of 3 sparkling crystals, which represent the light of the Holy Trinity. The chaplet is completed with a silver pewter vine cross & 2 medals - one is the Stella Maris medal & the other is Our Lady of Mr Carmel with the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the back.
The other medal (as shown) has Our Lady of Mt Carmel on one side & the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the other side. This medal is also known as the Scapular medal, and is the traditional medal for the Stella Maris chaplet. A card with the prayers is included with the chaplet.
Length: 22cm / 8.75 inches;
Beads: 8mm Swarovski pearls, 10mm pewter shells .
A lovely chaplet for anyone with a devotion to Our Lady, or who associated with the sea. It comes attractively wrapped along with the prayer card.
