St Therese Chaplet Rosary - The Little Flower of the Child Jesus
This chaplet rosary is dedicated to Saint Therese of Lisieux. She is known for her love of roses and is often called on to have one sent from her heavenly garden as a sign of hope. St. Therese's life on earth was spent in perfect love and service of Almighty God. Pope Pius X declared her "A Perfect Miniature of Holiness ... The Greatest Saint of Modern Times."
I've used 24 x 8mm round powder rose Swarovski® crystal pearls in the loop, in remembrance of Therese's love of roses. The single bead in the front extension is a faceted lampwork glass bead with wee pink roses and pure silver strands encased in the glass - two tiny Swarovski pearls sit on each side of this pretty bead.
The chaplet has a total of 24 prayer beads in the loop, one for each year of Therese's short life here on earth.
For the center connector I have used an unusual medal, shaped like a fleur-de-lis with three images on the front. In the center is Our Lady of Grace, with Saint Bernadette on the left and Saint Therese on the right. The back of the medal has the fiat of Mary, symbolising Mary's acceptance of God's Word that she was to bear the child Jesus. The chaplet begins and ends with a medal of Saint Therese holding a bouquet of roses with the words "Pray For Us" on the reverse.
Length: 28.5cm from mid-back to end of medal.
Beads: 8mm & 4mm round Swarovski pearls, 10mm lampwork glass rondelle.
This little rosary comes attractively wrapped with a card of the prayers for this chaplet. You can see more St Therese items here: St Therese Collection.
