St Padre Pio Chaplet Rosary, Healing Patron Saint
Padre Pio was cannonised a saint in 2002 by Pope John Paul II, becoming Saint Pio - but he is still fondly known as Padre Pio by those who revere him for his faith and piety. This is the chaplet of Saint Pio, made in the traditional layout for this little rosary, and comes with a card of the prayers to use with it.
There are 3 sets of 3 prayer beads, which are red jasper rondelles. These beads are 12mm across so they are ideal for those who like larger beads to pray with. The sets of 3 beads are separated with a short section of sturdy silver-plated chain which makes handling the beads a breeze.
The loop of beads comes together at a medal of Padre Pio, and the chaplet has a Good Shepherd cross. This cross is favored by Pope Francis and shows Jesus bearing a lamb on his shoulders and the flock behind him.
Length: 24cm / 9.5 inches;
Medal:2.2cm / 0.9 inches;
Cross: 4cm / 1,6 inches tall.
Padre Pio's advice on everyday Christian living can be summed up in his now famous quote, "Pray, Hope and Don’t Worry". He is the patron saint of those suffering from stress and depression, civil defense volunteers and adolescents.
A lovely chaplet that is well-made for regular personal use. It comes attractively packaged along with the prayer card.
