St Monica Rosary Bracelet, Mother's Gift
Made with 8mm round pure white Swarovski® crystal pearls for the Hail Marys and a single 10mm gold pearl for the Our Father prayer bead, the bracelet features a medal of Saint Monica. This 4th century Christian saint was the mother of Saint Augustine and knew her fair share of despair over the path in life her son chose to take.
I've placed a wee golden teardrop glass bead next to the medal, along with a white-tipped gold crucifix. I think all mothers have shed a tear or two for their children!
Monica's answer to her sorrow was prayer, and her prayers were answered. For 32 years Monica prayed for her son Augustine and her prayers were answered in a way that satisfied her mother's heart to overflowing and brought great benefit to people of faith everywhere.
The pearls are finished with tiny gold-plated bead caps and are individually linked with silver rosary wire. The mix of gold and silver metal with the white and gold pearls is very pretty.
A bracelet with a clasp is designed to fit loosely on your wrist & drape slightly over your hand. It is not made to be worn tight on your arm.
Measure your wrist just above the wristbone - do not add any extra length. Select that measurement from the drop-down size options & I will make sure the bracelet is a comfortable fit.
You can also choose to have a short silver-plated extension/growth chain added at the clasp for no extra cost.
Saint Monica's patronages include married women (she herself was a widow), and she is a role model for Christian motherhood. For mothers who despair for their children, Saint Monica's story offers hope and comfort.
A lovely bracelet for personal wear, which would make a meaningful gift. It comes with a card about Saint Monica and will be attractively packaged.
