St Michael Chaplet Rosary, Handmade in New Zealand
This chaplet of Saint Michael the Archangel is made in the traditional layout of beads for this devotion, with 9 groups of prayer beads in the loop, and a medal of Saint Michael the Archangel. St Michael is the patron saint of grocers, mariners, paratroopers, soldiers, police and sickness, and is Guardian of the Catholic Church.
I've used a mix of 6mm Swarovski pearls & faceted Czech crystal beads to make this little rosary, with each group of beads a different color. The larger beads separating the groups are 8mm clear crystal beads, the same as the ones in the front drop.
Each bead is individually linked with silver rosary wire, which gives the chaplet very nice drape in the hands. The center is an art deco style silver pewter connector, and the chaplet begins and ends with a colour medal of Saint Michael in a gold frame with a plain shiny back.
Length from mid-back to end of medal: 38cm / 15 inches
Medal: 2.5cm / 1 inch
A lovely chaplet for personal use or for gifting, it comes in attractive packaging along with a card of the traditional prayers.
