St Mary Magdalene Bracelet, Anglican Rosary Style
This stretch bracelet features Saint Mary Magdalene, considered by the Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican, and Lutheran churches. Her patronages include women, converts, penitent sinners, and those following a contemplative life - as well as chemists, glove-makers, tanners, hairdressers, perfumeries, reformed prostitutes and against sexual temptation.
The bracelet is a "wrist rosary" in the Anglican style, with 7 prayer beads & a single cruciform/invitatory bead at the front. The prayer beads are faceted red Czech crystal, red being the color most associated with Mary Magdalene. Small black enamel cross beads sit between each bead.
The design is completed with a finely detailed pewter bead at the front, with the saint medal and a small cross on either side, and decorative pewter and smaller crystal beads. A pamphlet about the Anglican rosary bracelet is included.
Uniquely among the followers of Christ, Mary Magdalene is mentioned by name as being present at the cross after the male disciples (excepting John the Beloved) had fled, and at his burial. She was the first person to see Jesus after his Resurrection, according to both John 20 and Mark 16:9.
A stretchy roll-on bracelet is designed to be a snug fit on your arm. Measure your wrist just above the wristbone. Select that measurement from the drop-down size options & I will make sure it is a comfortable, snug fit. Select the next size up for a looser fit.
