St Jude Medal, Patron Saint of Hopeless & Desperate Causes
Saint Jude Thaddeus medal, patron saint of hopeless causes and desperate cases, as shown in the first picture. The medal has the words "Pray For Us" engraved on the back.
The 2nd and 3rd pictures show other saint medals I have in stock, and the last image is a list of the patronages of some of them. You can see all my available medals here.
Saint Jude Thaddeus is thought to be one of the twelve apostles by many scholars. He is recognized in the Epistle of Jude as the brother of James and possibly a relative of Jesus. He traveled to Mesopotamia where he joined with Saint Simon in Persia where they were martyred together. Their feast day is celebrated on October 28.
Over the centuries, Saint Jude has been asked to intercede in hopeless causes and he is the patron saint to invoke when all else seems hopeless. You can see my work that includes St Jude here: St Jude Thaddeus Collection.
Size: 2.5cm including the loop on top, nickle and lead free pewter with lightly oxidised finish.
Comes with ring on top for attaching. Looking for a good quality chain to wear this pendant as a necklace? I have stainless steel chains here which are a good colour match.
