St Joseph Pocket Rosary with St Benedict Cross, Moss Agate Beads
Saint Joseph, the husband of the Virgin Mary, is a model for men to follow as fathers. He is also the patron of cabinetmakers and craftspeople, a happy and holy death, the selling and buying of homes, expectant mothers and immigrants.
I've used 8mm round natural green moss agate beads which are a nice size for handling, but still a compact wee rosary. The beads are all separately hand-linked with rosary wire so they flow smoothly through your hands in use. The single Our Father bead in the front is 10mm round and held between ornate silver pewter caps.
The loop of prayer beads meets at a small gold pewter Saint Benedict medal which compliments the St Benedict cross at the beginning of the rosary. The medal of Saint Joseph holding the child Jesus hangs alongside the cross.
The layout of the beads is the traditional Chaplet of Saint Joseph.
Length: 22cm / 8.75"
Medal: 2.5cm / 1"
Cross: 3.5cm / 1.4".
This well made chaplet is ideal for regular personal use, or would make a thoughtful gift. It comes attractively packaged with a card with the traditional prayers for this devotion.
