St Ignatius of Loyola Medal
Saint Ignatius is the patron saint of the Society of Jesus, soldiers, educators and education.
July 31 is the feast day of Saint Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556), founder of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuit Order), and author of the “Spiritual Exercises.” His spirituality is expressed in the Jesuit motto, ad majorem Dei gloriam - “for the greater glory of God.”
Size: 2.5cm tall including top loop. Made in Italy in nickle and lead free pewter.
