St Helen Medal - Helena of the Cross
Saint Helen medal, nickle & lead free pewter. Helen is also known as St Helena of the Cross, so as not to confuse her with other saints with similar names.
Helen was the mother of the great Roman emperor Constantine & had a great influence on the imperial court. She converted to Christianity and built many churches in Rome and the Holy Land. On pilgrimage to the Holy Land she found the True Cross, and was also known to generously help the poor & the sick. Through her influence and work, Christianity continued to spread throughout the known world.
St. Helena is the patron saint of new discoveries, archaeologists, difficult marriages, divorcees and converts.
Size: 2.5cm tall including loop. The medal comes with a silver steel split ring through the top loop so it is ready to use.
