St Cecilia Medal, Patron of Music, Composers, Poets

Saint Cecilia is said to have heard heavenly music inside her heart when she was forced to marry the pagan, Valerian. She is the acclaimed patron saint of music, especially church music, as well as that of musicians, composers, instrument makers and poets.

The name Cecilia means blind and so, although it is not known if she herself couldn't see, she is also the patron saint of the blind.

Size: 2.5cm tall including the loop. Made from nickle and lead free pewter with a lightly oxidised finish to show up the details.

Comes with a silver steel split-ring through the loop on top so it is ready for use.  If you are looking for a neck chain for this medal, I have stainless steel chains in store which are a good match for the finish on the medal.
