St Cecilia Chaplet Rosary, Patron Saint of Musicians & Poets
Saint Cecilia is the Patron Saint of musicians & church music - legend says she heard the music of the Angels in her heart when forced to marry against her wishes. The chaplet (small rosary) is laid out in the traditional pattern for this devotion, with three groups of three beads and a medal of Cecilia.
For this wee rosary I've chosen lovely Czech glass nugget beads with cream, brown & bronze colors. Silver and gold lengths of chain separate the sets of beads, which tones in with the medals and charms at each end.
At one end is a silver pewter medal of St Cecilia along with little silver pewter angel & a gold-plated music note charm. At the other end of the strand is a stainless steel disc engraved with the words "When words fail, music speaks", along with a small simple gold cross and a heart charm.
Length: 34.5cm / 13.5 inches
Medal: 2.5cm / 1inch
Beads: 10mm Czech art glass
This chaplet comes attractively wrapped along with a card with the traditional prayers.
