St Brigid of Kildare Niner Chaplet (Saint Bridget)
This niner chaplet rosary features Saint Brigid of Kildare, who is also known as St Bridget or Ireland and sometimes is called Mary of the Gael. Brigid lived c. 451-525, and is one of Ireland's patron saints.
The 9 beads which gives this style of rosary its name are arranged in 3 groups of 3 - they are 8mm Czech glass nugget beads. Each bead is individually cut & has marbled ends. The sets of beads are separated with sparkling Swarovski crystals and short lengths of double chain.
At one end of the niner is a medal of Saint Brigid, and at the other is an Irish penal crucifix in nickle & lead free pewter. A card about this well-known crucifix which has symbols of the crucifixion on both sides is included.
Length: 41cm / 16 inches.
Medal: 2.5cm / 1 inch.
Crucifix: 5cm / 2 inches tall.
The chaplet is lightweight and flows smoothly through your hands in use - perfect for personal prayer or for gifting. A pamphlet with the traditional prayer is included.
