St Bridget of Kildare Medal, Catholic Irish Saint
Silver pewter medal of Saint Bridget of Kildare, with the words "Pray For Us" on the reverse.
Saint Bridget of Kildare, or Brigit of Ireland (also known as Brigid, Bridgit, Bríd and Bride), is one of Ireland's patron saints along with saints Patrick and Columba. Irish history makes her an early Irish Christian nun, abbess, and founder of several monasteries of nuns, including the monastery of ‘Kildare’ Ireland which was considered legendary and was highly revered. Her common name from as far back as the year 450 is Mary of the Gael.
Size: 2.5cm tall including top loop. The medal comes with a split-ring through the loop on top so it is ready for use.
If you are looking for a neck chain for this medal, I have stainless steel chains which are a good match for the antique silver finish of the medal.
