St Anthony Medal, Bronze
Saint Anthony is the patron of the poor, the starving, the patron saint of seekers of lost persons or articles, travelers, animals, amputees, elderly people and shipwrecks, as well as the Patron Saint of Portugal.
Oval bronze medal of Saint Anthony with the child Jesus, and praying hands on the back. One of the most beloved of saints, images and statues of St Anthony of Padua are found everywhere. He died in 1231, was canonized just one year after his death in 1232, and on January 16 1946 he was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church.
The medal is nickle & lead free & has been lightly oxidised to give it an antique look.
2.5cm tall including the top loop. Comes with a brass split ring through the loop on top so it is ready to use.
