St Anthony of Padua Deluxe Gold-Plated Medal

Saint Anthony antique-gold plated medal with a fancy frame with charcoal enamel inlay to show off the lovely detail in the image. A very nice quality medal of this much-loved saint, 2.5cm tall including the top loop.

St Anthony is known as a patron of the poor, the starving, the patron saint of seekers of lost persons or articles, expectant mothers, travelers, sailors & fishermen and shipwrecks.

Anthony of Padua was born to wealth but for the sake of Christ he became a poor Franciscan priest. A gifted speaker, he attracted crowds everywhere, speaking in multiple tongues. When he found that heretics would not listen to him he went to the shore and preached to the fishes, for the glory of God, the delight of Angels and to ease his own heart.

Comes with a gold steel split ring through the top loop so it is ready to use.
