St Anthony Chaplet Prayer Beads
This little rosary is known as the Chaplet of Saint Anthony and is made in the traditional layout for this devotion. One of the most beloved of saints, his images and statues are found everywhere showing him holding the Child Jesus.
The chaplet has 13 beads in a loop, representing the virtues of Anthony. I've used 8mm round blue sodalite gemstone beads, all hand-linked with brass rosary wire. This attractive stone has many shades of blue throughout each bead.
The loop of prayer beads meets at a bronze center medal of Our Lady, known as the Miraculous Medal, and the rosary begins and ends with a bronze medal of Saint Anthony of Padua with praying hands on the reverse. A card with the traditional prayers is included.
Length from mid-back to end of medal: 20cm / 8 inches
Medal: 2.5cm / 1 inch tall.
A lovely we chaplet for meditating on the virtues of this great and yet humble saint, who is the patron saint of the poor and starving, seekers of lost people and things, amputees, fishermen, travelers and shipwrecks. St Anthony is greatly admired by expectant mothers for his love for the Baby Jesus - and he himself was a kind and nurturing man.
This chaplet comes attractively packaged along with the prayer card.
