St Anne Mother's Chaplet Rosary
Here is a chaplet of Saint Anne rosary made especially with mothers in mind. This little rosary of St Anne (also written as Ann), the mother of the Virgin Mary, dates back to 1875 and is in honor of Anne, the Virgin Mary's first teacher as well as her mother. Anne is also the patron saint of all mothers and grandmothers, homemakers and pregnant women.
I've made this chaplet of St Anne with lovely Czech glass beads in blue with an for the 3 groups of 5 prayer beads, and coin-shaped iridescent blue Swarovski pearls for the Our Father beads between. The rosary is both lovely to look at and comfortable in the hands.
All the beads are linked by hand with gold rosary wire, and the larger beads are finished with wire-wrapping. The center connector is a gold-plated color medal of St Anne and the chaplet begins and ends with a traditional gold-plated crucifix.
Length from center back to end of crucifix: 27cm / 10.75 inches;
Medal: 2cm across.
This pretty chaplet rosary is lovely for personal use or for gifting to a mother or grandmother. It comes with a card of the traditional prayers and will be attractively packaged.
