Saint Agatha is best known as the patroness of those suffering from breast cancer, but she has many other patronages as well, among them nurses, bakers and jewelers as well as against earthquakes and against natural disasters.

Saint Agatha is one of the most highly venerated virgin martyrs of Christian antiquity, put to death for her steadfast profession of faith in Catania, Sicily around 250.

Each group has 3 pink crystal beads linked with rosary wire, and the center bead is finished with silver petal caps and wire-wrapping. The loop of prayer beads meets at a lovely rose center, then the medal and cross.
St Agatha is often called on in prayers for comfort, hope and healing for those with cancer - and for comfort and strength for their family and friends, as well as the nurses who care for them.
