St Anthony of Padua Medal


Pewter medal of Saint Anthony with the words "Pray For Us" on the reverse.

One of the most beloved of saints, images and statues of St Anthony of Padua are found everywhere. He died in 1231, was canonized just one year after his death in 1232, and on January 16 1946 he was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church.

St Anthony is known as a patron of the poor, the starving, the patron saint of seekers of lost persons or articles, travelers, and shipwrecks, as well as being the Patron Saint of Portugal.

Made in Italy with nickle & lead free pewter, 2.5cm tall including the top loop.

Comes with a silver steel split ring through the loop on top so it is ready to use.
