Our Lady of Sorrows features in the center medal of this handmade rosary, set among 8mm round greenstone (nephrite jade) beads. The rosary has hand-linked beads so flows smoothly through the hands in use.
The colour of the jade is mid-green, and the beads show the variations in colour & inclusions typical in this type of jade.
The 5 decades of Hail Mary beads are 8mm round. The Our Father beads are made up with 2 smaller greenstone beads held either side of a silver pewter bead. The rosary design is completed with a Celtic crucifix in silver pewter.
Length from center back to end of crucifix: 56cm / 22 inches
Crucifix: 4cm / 1.6 inches tall.
A lovely rosary for personal use or for gifting, it is well-made for many years of prayer. It comes in a handmade (by me) rosary pouch to store it in.
