Our Lady of Sorrows Rosary Bracelet
Catholic bracelet of Our Lady of Sorrows. Devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows can be traced back even to Apostolic times and this bracelet brings an ancient devotion right into the present day. It can be used as a prayer bracelet - a little wrist rosary.
I've made the bracelet with faceted Czech glass beads with a glistening hematite finish for the ten Hail Mary beads, separated with smooth mossy-green and blue glass beads and silver accents. At the front of the bracelet hangs a little medal of Our Lady of Sorrows along with a silver pewter heart and crystal teardrop, in remembrance of the love and sorrow Mary felt for her son.
The faceted beads are 8mm across. The bracelet is made on super-flexible jeweler's wire and closes with a silver-plated spring action clasp.
The picture bracelet is 19cm (7.5 inches) long. Some "average" sizes are listed below and you can choose the length you want from the drop-down menu before checkout.
- Bracelet length and wrist size are not the same thing. • To find what bracelet length is best for you, measure your wrist just above the wristbone where you wear a watch, then ADD another 2.5cm (1 inch) to that measurement. That is the length bracelet you need.
small - 18cm / 7"
medium - 19cm / 7.5"
large - 20cm / 8"
X-lge - 21.5cm / 8.5"
You can also choose to have a short silver-plated extension/growth chain added at the clasp for no extra cost, which gives a little flexibility in size.
This bracelet can be made even more special with the addition of personalized letter charms - perhaps the initial of the wearer. You can see details here - extra cost applies.
This is a lovely and meaningful bracelet for your own wear, or which would also make a thoughtful gift for another. It comes attractively packaged.
