First Communion Decima Rosary, Holy Spirit Medal
A small chaplet is an ideal gift for a godparent or family member to give on the special day of First Holy Communion. A chaplet is a small rosary, usually themed for a particular purpose as this one is, with its Holy Communion Cup & Holy Family medal.
I've used pretty champagne faceted crystal beads for the Hail Mary's in the single decade loop, all linked with silver rosary wire. The Our Father prayer bead in the front is finished with silver end caps and tiny Swarovski crystals, and is wire-wrapped to give extra strength where needed when the beads are being used.
The center medal shows the Fiat of Mary, which are symbols representing Mary's obedience to God's will that she bear the child Jesus. It has the Holy Spirit Dove on the other side.
The chaplet begins and ends with a small white enameled crucifix and the First Communion medal which shows the chalice and Host on one side, and the Holy Family on the other.
You can personalise this rosary with the addition of silver-plated letter charms - see this listing for details (additional costs apply).
