Black Onyx Memento Mori Rosary with Saint Medal
This Memento Mori rosary is a design dating back to a popular style of rosary in the Middle Ages Renaissance era. "Memento Mori" means "remember you are mortal" and is a reminder to the faithful that life is fleeting. The memento is usually a skull, bringing to mind that our earthly life is short, so we should make the most of it.

This 5-decade Catholic rosary is made with 8mm round black onyx beads for the Aves. The Pater beads are white howlite carved skulls, a marble-like creamy white stone with delicate brown veins through each bead.
You can choose to have a saint medal attached to the rosary - in the photos you can see a St Dymphna medal. Select your choice of saint from this collection and enter the name in the options text box before checking out.
All the beads are individually linked with silver rosary wire, so the rosary flows nicely through your hands.
The center connector shows the Virgin Mary surrounded by angels & the traditional "budded" style cross has a black enamel background.
Length when hanging: 54cm / 21.25 inches;
Crucifix: 3.75cm / 1.5 inches tall.
This full-size rosary is well made for years of prayer, and comes in a handmade (by me) rosary pouch to keep it in.
