St Cecilia Chaplet Rosary, Patron Saint of Musicians & Poets
Saint Cecilia is the Patron Saint of musicians & church music - legend says she heard the music of the Angels in her heart when forced to marry against her wishes. The chaplet (small rosary) is laid out in the traditional pattern for this devotion, with three groups of three beads and a medal of Cecilia.
For this wee rosary I've chosen lovely Czech glass nugget beads with gold & bronze colors, with gold Swarovski crystals separating the groups of prayer beads.
At one end is a silver pewter medal of St Cecilia along with little gold-plated angel & heart charms, symbolizing love and protection. At the other end of the strand is a stainless steel disc engraved with the words "When words fail, music speaks", along with a small gold filigree crucifix.
I've hand-linked each bead with gold and silver rosary wire, and added sparkling Swarovski crystals between the groups of three beads.
Length: 32cm / 12.6 inches
Medal: 1" (2.5cm)
Crucifix: 3cm / 1.2 inches
This chaplet comes attractively wrapped along with a card with the traditional prayers.
