St Anne Chaplet Rosary - "Beads of Saint Anne"
This small chaplet rosary is often known by the name "beads of Saint Anne" and traditionally it has 18 beads in total, along with a medal of Saint Anne. Anne was the mother of the Virgin Mary and so was her first teacher - in this medal she is shown with Mary at her side.
I've used vibrant carnelian gemstone beads for the Hail Marys, and lovely cone-shaped beads of banded red agate for the Our Father prayer beads. All the beads are hand-linked to give the chaplet nice flow through your hands, and the design is completed with silver accents and double-link chain.
The beads are laid out in 3 groups of 5 Hail Mary beads, with one set honoring each of Jesus, Mary and Anne. The Our Father beads are placed between the 3 sets of Hail Marys in the loop, and the 18th bead is the Our Father in the front chain, next to the medal of St Anne. A pamphlet with the prayers for this chaplet is included.
Length from center back to end of crucifix: 29cm / 11.4 inches
Medal: 2.5cm / 1 inch tall.
This handmade chaplet rosary is lovely for personal use or for gifting. It comes with a card of the traditional prayers and will be attractively packaged.
