A smaller-sized handmade rosary which features a Sacred Heart center and a Saint Benedict crucifix. This is a great choice for someone who likes a more compact and lightweight rosary.
The Hail Mary beads are 6mm round black onyx gemstone beads, all hand-linked with silver rosary wire. The Our Father prayer beads are pewter crosses with blue and red enamel - the traditional colors for St Benedict - and I have wire-wrapped these beads for extra strength where needed most in the rosary.
The center medal has a color image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in a silver-tone frame with a plain back. The loop of beads is long enough to go over the head without a clasp.
The crucifix has the ward (prayer of protection) of Saint Benedict behind the figure of Christ, and a figure of St Benedict on the reverse side. The arms are inset with blue enamel on the front.
Length from mid-back to end of crucifix: 46cm / 18 inches;
Center medal: 1.8cm / 0.7 inch tall;
Crucifix: 4cm tall / 1.6 inches.
