St Mark the Evangelist Pocket Rosary

This little pocket rosary features a medal of Saint Mark the Evangelist. Made with black lava stone beads and an Alpha & Omega center, this one-decade rosary is a great travel companion as it slips easily into a pocket or bag.

St Mark is the author of the second Gospel, and was the son of Mary whose house at Jerusalem was the meeting place of Christians. He was baptized and instructed by St Peter. In about the year 42 A.D. he went to Rome with the Peter and there, at the request of the faithful. he wrote his Gospel about the year 50 A.D.

This wee rosary is made with lava stone beads for the Hail Marys, each bead linked with silver rosary wire so the rosary flows smoothly in your hands and also collapses into a small space for carrying with you. The front Our Father bead is black quartz, capped with filigree and wire-wrapped. The medal of Saint Peter hangs alongside a small cross at the front.
