St Agnes Medal, Patron of Virgins & Gardeners
Silver pewter medal of Saint Agnes with the words "Pray For Us" on the reverse.
Agnes of Rome (c. 291 – c. 304) is a virgin–martyr, venerated as a saint in the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church, the Anglican Communion, and Lutherans. She is one of seven women, excluding the Blessed Virgin, commemorated by name in the Canon of the Mass. She is the patron saint of chastity, girls, engaged couples, rape victims, virgins - and gardeners.
Size: 2.5cm tall including the loop. Comes with a silver tone split ring through the top loop so it is ready for use.
If you are looking for a neck chain to wear this medal as a pendant, I have some good quality stainless steel chains here which will not tarnish and are a good colour match.
