St Agatha Medal


Medal of Saint Agatha who has many patronages, among them nurses, bakers and jewellers as well as against earthquakes, against breast cancer and against natural disasters. 

Agatha of Sicily is one of the most highly venerated virgin martyrs in Christian history. Agatha was born at Catania, Sicily, and she was martyred around the year 251, put to death for her steadfast profession of faith. She is one of only seven women, excluding the Blessed Virgin Mary, who is commemorated by name in the Canon of the Mass.
